DataBase Update: Cartographer_QuestObjectives.lua: This is a huge database of quests before patch 2.4 its a must download. You lose your sunfury quest obj icons but this file contains 68000+ locations for quest objectives and will let you power level like never before! Cartographer_Quests.lua: Contains data on the locations of 2300+ quest givers. If you install it then you will loose data on any quest you already completed so it will look like that quest is again available. You can always right click the note and set it to done. Inflight.lua: Horde Only. I just included it because it fixxes the glitched location of the flight point in Ratchet. (I think bliz moved the NPC slightly?)
v.4.5 adv: List of slash commands /handynotes (new), /gathermate, /routes.
Delete Cartog Addons and Reinstall.
Updated DBs (soon) got up off due to patch.

Features:
Foglight Shows you the entire map by default or change the color of
unexplored areas to anything you want.
Minimap Any icon on your main map can be put instead or as well as on
your minimap.
Coordinates Show coordinates for curser position and player position.
Group Colors Change player icons to show class colors.
Guild Positions Show a icon for any guildy who is using cartographer.
Notes Make your own map notes. Ctrl-right click on map or /note
Note Target /nt to make a note using your targets info.
Icon Packs Make notes with icons from six different icon packs.
POI Shows info on map about the area under the mouse curser.
Hotspot Opens map on mouse hover over the map icon.
Waypoints set a arrow for any location you have a icon for.
Zone Info Put information about current zone on your map.
Professions Manages profession map node veiwablity.
*Mining Put all mining nodes on the map.
*Herbalism Put all herbal nodes on the map.
*Treasure Put all treasure nodes on the map.
*Extract Gas - Put all gas nodes on the map.
*Fishing Put Fish icons on the map.
Routes connect the dots between nodes.
Quests Map out quest givers. (database download available)
Quest Objectives Map out quest objectives. (database download

Trainers Places icons for class and profession trainers on the map.
Venders Icon for venders and auto note their info.

Common questions and answers Q: What is the difference in versions? A: Adv takes less ram. Its harder to set up and take /gathermate and /routes to access those menus. A few more options and easier route setup. (gathermate database available, next page of down load file list) A: Org is the full version of the original cartographer, easy menu access but more ram. Slightly less options. Q: Im getting error What do I do? A: Install update or Update the dependency files via http://files.wowace.com/ Q: How do I see the mining icons? A: Turn your tracking on or enable it via the professions menu. A: If you are using adv version type /gathermate. Q: Cartographer doesnt work at all. Whats up? A: Disable all other addons and try loading up using only cartographer and its modules if this works then one you your addons is causing a problem with cartographer. See install page for known issues. Q: Why do you include the dependency files when they are already in the module folders? A: I get less error message spam. Q: What do i do with the Tools and DB files? A: The .luas are variable saves for the addon of the same name. Ergo, the GatherMate.lua is a GatherMate database. These Files go in your /wow/wtf/account/[accountname]/savedvariables folder.

xgm541 saidAny issues between this and questhelper? Im getting issues with the visual arrow guide which appears in two locations on my screen, one in my selected location fully functioning and one very annoying one on my character which flashes, and i am unable to modify. Also, when i atte,pt to take a screen shot it dissapears momentarily. Anything i should know?

dinnercoat saidI have Gas Extract enabled but its not showing any existing nodes on the map, only ones I've extracted. Does it not come with a database of nodes like for mining and the other gathering professions?

questage saidI would also like to know if there is an update coming for this addon. I downloaded the Cartographer3, and of course it doesn't have the Waypoints so now I guess I will just have to delete it and use this OLD version of Cartographer Complete until an update is found.

brianbucks saidIm trying to read how to use this as I was a former Quest helper and got POd with the memory getting sucked up and crashing my fairly upgraded and newer laptop. I was trying to figure out how to have it show where I need to go to do the quests. Sorry if this is an easy fix or newb question but on QH it just sort of showed itself and wondered if I have to set something up or what. So far it looks really great! I just wanna get a handle on how best to use this. I have several addons that are useful and this ties in with some. I will be advising my guild mates to use this then if it keeps track of us on the map. Pretty cool idea.

This file is NOT included in the Cartographer Complete v4.6 org. Where can I download it? Ps same for the other file mentioned.

sob666 saidEverything works with this mod but the proffesions... Mining/herbing nodes dont show even if enabled or if you reinstall the mod.
This Should/Needs to be fixed ASAP then it'll be the best mod out there!

Xaximus saidMining and Herbalism weren't showing up, so I downloaded them manually, but they still weren't displaying. Then I saw above that I have to type /gathermate (brilliant), but it's still not displaying the icons.
Edit: Nevermind, it's working, but apparently the database is empty... I'm used to it being filled in.

sirender saidThis is a great addon, however I did find a small, but correctable problem. When I loaded Cartographer anytime I changed the size of the map in the Look n' Feel part of the configuration and I closed the map it would default back to the original size. Also the improved error frame would always give me an error siting line 465. It said that 'this' was a nil value. I changed it to 'self' and that fixed the problem. However a new error arose. Improved error frame told me it was line 470 & 471 where the SetWidth and SetHeight is defined. I simply took that out and the error went away.
Now, I'm not sure if my corrections are correct or will cause any unforeseen problems down the line, but it seems to work and I no longer have any errors. I hope this helps. Otherwise wonderful addon, much more stable than MetaMap

Kaaja saidGreat Addon, I had a few problems with the mouse over feature over the world map but fixed it quickly by disabling it. I would however, like to see map coords outside the map, with the option to shift click them to make it echo into a chat channel with the location (coords).

Johannsson saidI would be very pleased, if You add a feature to choose another icons for map notes, for example, just an accurate arrow... Because it's silly to see your world map in loads of bright purple diamonds or stupid skulls!

Oonach saidWhen i create a waypoint, the red arrow shows the distance in yards instead of meters. Is there any way to change this so i can see the distance in meters? I could not find this in the configuration settings.

kiwi_pearls saidI'm a little confused about Guild Positions. I had a member in the guild who was using cartogrpaher but I could not see him on the map - although I know this feature does work - as I was able to see my husbands character using it.
Does the guild position work while you are in a party - as I'd love to see my party member as well as any quild members whom are not in the party.
